As a parent of two teenage children in our public schools, I passionately believe that our schools are the backbone of our community and we must continue to provide a rigorous, comprehensive curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment for our students.

• LPIE (Lafayette Partners in Education) Treasurer and Board Member- overseeing $4-5 Million Annual Budget
   

• Local School District Community Revenue Study Committee Member
   

• Local School District Budget Advisory Committee Member- identified $2 Million in savings and new revenue opportunities
   

• Longtime school volunteer, including Legislative Representative for the local elementary school PTA

Meeting our district's budgetary needs has become increasingly difficult due to inflation, rising costs, and insufficient state funding. With my financial background, I bring expertise in analyzing data while maintaining a broader perspective to ensure our financial preparedness for the future. If elected, I will focus on implementing initiatives to enhance academic engagement and foster an inclusive culture for all students, while ensuring fiscal stability for the long-term success of our school district.
